Crows and Cranes
Grade 1,2,3
Rules
1. Everyone lines up with a partner (That the teacher chooses) about a metre away from each other in the middle of the gym
2. The teacher assigns one side to be crows, the other to be cranes.
3. When the teacher says either crows or crains the students who are that type have to run back to their side before their partner touches them
4. After returning you can continue to play.

Modifications/Layers
1. First start with the calling out the names (crow or crains) and have the students run back by themselves, with no one chasing
2. Make sure to pick partners, so that match ups are fair
3. Change up the order so that the students listen, and don’t just guess.
